"Ewa was nothing short of a saviour for both my daughters. Friendly, patient, trustworthy and focused on results, Ewa was incredible as a tutor and is frankly a hidden gem for any Parent seeking help for their student. Basically, went from "struggling and feeling behind" to "excelling and feeling ahead". That is what Ewa does for her students. It's literally transformational. To say Ewa was instrumental in both my daughters' success in Math would be a massive understatement. My Wife and I are truly grateful and we hope many other parents get to share in her enormous talents."

"Eva is a very good tutor, she takes the time to explain the math concepts with great detail and clarity. She is very thorough and informative in her approach to teaching whilst giving many practice examples. She asks questions to ensure understanding and provides a comfortable atmosphere to learn. She taught my son Grade 10 and 11 - Functions and we shall be using Eva again for the Grade 12 Advanced Functions and Calculus next year. Excellent work Eva!! Thank you so very much for significantly improving my son's math grade."

“Ewa has been tutoring our son in math since grade 9 and has been instrumental in his success in the subject and helping with his organizational skills overall. Ewa’s patience and teaching style has helped make math less intimidating and one of his stronger subjects overall. Now that he has graduated from High School and is off to university, Ewa has started working with our Daughter who is in grade 9 and has seen an instant impact on her grades and engagement”.

"Ewa has such a warm energy about her and creates such a safe space for learning. Not only does her professionalism shine through in how she tutors but she doesn’t make math seem as intimidating as it might seem! I worked with Ewa for my entirety of high school and it was the best decision for the kind of educational assistance I needed at the time. Her patience allowed me to make mistakes and learn from them, which helped me not only solidify my own understanding but take what guidance she gave me and apply it in the classroom. She gave me the space to gain confidence in my ideas and to break the stigma of “Math not being my thing”. I can credit Ewa for the major change in not only my marks but my critical thinking. She always made sure to remind me of the potential I had to improve, which caused my motivation to skyrocket. I started high school as an unmotivated and unorganized student, not only did Ewa help me maintain new organizational habits but she helped me recognize my potential. Ewa was a very positive part of my life; she turned around my studies for the better and took the time to connect with me not only as a tutor but a friend."

"My daughter has excelled in math since having Ewa as a tutor. This last year is no exception. Once the pandemic hit Ewa pivoted seamlessly to tutoring all online with my daughter. My daughter felt her sessions were as productive and helpful as in-person tutoring. Her mark reflected it! I highly recommend Ewa as a tutor on either platform!"

"Eva tutored my daughter in grade 9 math, and it was such a positive experience, she continued with her for 10, 11, and 12. As a result, my daughter really enjoyed learning math, developed invaluable strategies, and excelled in her courses. Eventually, one of my daughter’s friends also went to Eva for tutoring, and the two of them would compare their sense of relief and satisfaction after a session because they understood what had confused them in class. In March of my daughter’s last semester of high school, everything became challenging due to the move to online leaning once the pandemic hit. We were so grateful that Eva moved to face-to-face online sessions which saved my daughter in grade 12 math and the same was true for first year Calculus at university where again the learning was fully online. Eva is a gifted teacher, and we feel so fortunate!"

"Ewa has a very effective process and communication style that allows her students to excel. Both my children did well in elementary school Math but things quickly changed once they reached high school. Ewa taught them the skills they needed to excel in high school Math and instilled a newfound confidence. She anticipated their needs and was very committed to their success. I’m so grateful that we found Ewa when we did!"

"When I first started with Ewa in grade 7, I hated math and thought I wasn’t smart enough to be apart of the gifted program. A short six years later, Ewa changed my outlook entirely on not only math as a subject, but my capabilities in all aspects of school. I looked forward to our time together each week and left feeling accomplished and inspired. Encouraged and assisted by Ewa, I did exceptionally well in all high school math courses and am confident I have moved on to university with the skills I need to succeed. Any person who is lucky enough to have her as a mentor can testify that her teaching is unmatched, her humour is contagious and the care she has for each of her students is outstanding. I have benefited far beyond good grades from Ewa and her influence will be undoubtedly be impactful for years to come.."

"Eva Kasinska is a most splendid Calculus tutor. My daughter was always a strong math student, but struggled when she started first year University Calculus with a Professor that simply could not explain the material in a manner my daughter could understand. We tried one tutor who was recommended, and that failed. We were anxious and worried and then Eva was recommended to us. Eva quickly connected with my daughter and stepped her through the backlog of material. The light came back to my daughter's eyes and yesterday we learned she achieved 88% in her Christmas exam. Eva is professional, supportive, trustworthy, and has a magical way of making Calculus make sense. She connects with her students so they strive to succeed and with me as a parent Eva was open and honest and was an excellent communicator."

"The most influential teacher I had growing up, Eva's in-depth knowledge of Ontario curriculum, assessment and evaluation methodology and in class-experience, already set her apart from the vast majority of tutors out there.
To parents of math students: what makes her the absolute right choice for your student is her ability to remove the dual obstacles of fear and intimidation that stigmatize math classes in general. To math students looking for someone who can make math fun and accessible: the most fun I had as a student was in my high school calculus class.
There is no one I would trust more with my own child in a math class or tutoring session."

"When I started grade 11 math with Eva, I hated math and thought my previous marks in the 50s were a clear indication that I was bad at it. One semester with Eva was all it took to realize it's not all sums and headaches - it's a puzzle, it's fun, and what do you know, she thinks I'm good at it! Eva believed in me, and I thought I'd mistakenly fooled her into thinking I was smart. Eventually, I believed it too, and not wanting to let her down turned into not wanting to let myself down. Fast forward several years, and I have a math degree, a teacher's certificate, and several years in the classroom under my belt, and I still think about Eva's teaching every time I'm at the front of a classroom. A life hero, Eva is not only the reason I aced high school calculus, she's the reason I became a math teacher, and she's the master teacher I aspire to become."

"I have been thinking of you a lot as my daughters settled into their university routines. Without you in particular, I'm not sure that they would have made it to university and they certainly wouldn't have been as well-prepared for university life. You gave my girls invaluable help and support during some difficult times and we are very grateful."

"Eva was not only my teacher, but was, and continues to be, my mentor. After being convinced by multiple math teachers that I was simply not a "math person", Eva's creative and passionate approach to teaching not only motivated me to excel at a subject that I once hated, but encouraged me to delve deeper into the realm of mathematics at an academic level. I now not only run a math tutoring centre dedicated to showing students that mathematics can be as awesome as Eva showed me it could be, but I also pursue academic work revolving around showing ''non-math people" how math can and does fit seamlessly into their lives. To this day, Eva continues to be a source of inspiration and advice - she is always there to lend a hand, suggest a teaching strategy, or give her insight on current issues surrounding mathematics teaching."

"Eva is very knowledgeable and is able to work very well with students who have different learning styles. She is very patient and ensures students truly understand the concepts versus merely memorizing the steps to get an answer. Best of all, Eva cares deeply for her students and develops a relationship of mutual respect. She has really made a difference in the way our children feel about Math."

"I first met Eva 18 years ago, in grade 9 Spanish class. From the very first day when she assigned all of us Spanish names, I knew I would love the class, and love having her as a teacher. And I did! I continued both Spanish and math with her throughout high school and always looked forward to her classes. She was an engaging and energetic teacher who, believe it or not, made even her math classes fun. She didn't let her students get away with anything, and though her classes were tough, the material stuck. I can still get by in Spanish even though I haven't taken a class since high school! More so, it was because of Eva that I became a math tutor myself. She encouraged me to start tutoring and was a strong support - someone I could always come to talk to. And here we are, 18 years later, still regularly meeting for brunch. She continues to be a supportive friend and I am most grateful for having had this incredible teacher, who is now a wonderful friend, in my life."

"Eva taught both of my sons in high school. One is a now a student at University of Toronto and the other is a student at McMaster. She was an inspired teacher who presented the work clearly, but also worked hard to understand the students and ensure that students reached their potential. Eva is excellent at identifying and coaching students who have weak study and organizational skills so I highly recommend her both as a tutor and as an organizational coach."

"When I met Eva I was a struggling high-school student with poor grades and no motivation to improve. Eva is directly responsible for a major transformation in my life. During my first term with Eva as my math teacher my grades increased by over 40%. Her influence extended to all other subjects as well. For the first time in my life, I became interested in school, and confident that if I put in some hard work I would achieve good results. The results came for me when all my university applications were accepted. I was able to gain entry into one of Canada's top engineering schools. Eva was the teacher that was most directly responsible for that success. Eva is the type of person who has a profound impact on the people who are lucky enough to find themselves in her classroom. She is the best teacher I ever had."

"My daughter enjoyed her time working with you - you made her year of calculus enjoyable as it turned out to be one her highest marks. Not even knowing if she could handle AP calculus at the beginning of the year, you gave her the confidence to do it."
